Two Owensboro teens are making waves in the Tri-State after the idea for a new invention. Apollo High School Juniors Blake Knott and Dalton Nonweiler make this video to show their idea for a new, improved version of ear phones. Both say after years of being dissatisfied with their ear phones. They decide to take matters into their own hands.

After making several designs they enter this video with the new product helping them qualify for a summer program called Government School Entrepreneurship Program. They hope to get in the Summer program and maybe even have their product in stores some day.

"Right now, I don't know if the patent will go through," said Dalton, "and it will actually be a product. It's just kind of used for competitions right now. I'm not sure if we can get it patent and sold then that would be great."

Dalton and Blake say the school and friends are excited and ready to try out the new invention soon.
