Jerry Dulin, II, is facing murder charges after police say he shot Donnie DeJarnett, Junior, shortly after 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.
According to investigators, Dulin was in an SUV with DeJarnett when he fired the fatal shots near the intersection of Sweetser and South New York.
Police say the SUV then ran off the road and through several yards before crashing into a tree. Dulin, according to police, and another person in the car, then began to fight over the gun, causing more shots to be fired. Officers say both ran from the scene, but were caught a short time later. The third person was relaeased.
