An Evansville couple is accused of leaving their three young children in the car while in court Tuesday morning. Chase and Cammie Mattingly now face several counts of child neglect. Someone called police after hearing a baby cry inside a jeep in the Civic Center parking lot. Officers say the car was not running when they got there. Police say inside they found a two and three-year-old and seven-month-old infant. It was 45-degrees outside at the time. After running the license plates, officers found the driver was scheduled to be in court. The children were picked up by child protection services.
