Three local colleges are ready to get you on board their recycling campaign. Alcoa Warrick is supplying the cash prize for whichever school improves the most in this year's Recyclemania Tournament. The University of Evansville, the University of Southern Indiana, and Ivy Tech Community College are competing against hundreds of other colleges across the country. The idea is to use a friendly challenge to clean up college campuses.

Besides the cash prize, the students will get bragging rights and a traveling trophy, which is made is made out crushed aluminum cans. It was created by a local artist. Last year, the three schools kept more than 86,000 pounds of trash from making it into the landfills.
