If you could give $5,000 to anyone, who would it be? Larry Goebel from Evansville got that chance. He was a winner of America's Farmers Grow Communities, a program sponsored by Monsanto. His decision was the Dream Center in Evansville and the Scott Achievers 4H Club.

"The Bible says we should take care of the needy," said Goebel, "and that's a big part of the community use to do. Now a days, we rely on the government to do it, but the Gospel way is you take care of your neighbor in need."

Normally the fund gives out $2,500. But because our area was disastrously affected by the drought, the foundation gave money for two separate gifts.
