It took overtime to finish the nightcap on day one of the GLVC Tournament, and in the end, the tourney's hometown team is in the semifinals.  USI's 88-80 win over Lewis
improves the Eagles winning streak to three games.  Keith DeWitt established himself early and often for the Eagles Frontcourt, leading USI with 25 points.  Orlando Rutledge had 19 points and fifteen rebounds.  Up next, Third-seeded USI will face #2 seed Wisconsin-Parkside at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
