Water Bill Rates Going Up this Month in Evansville

By: Chris Veech
Updated: March 8, 2013
Evansville Water & Sewer Utility customers will see new rates on their water bills this month. The increased revenue will fund projects like replacing old water main lines, update water technology, and inspection projects. A typical customer using 5,000 gallons each month will see their bill increase to $16.68. In 20-14, the bill will add up to $18.10 a month. And in 2015, the rate for that customer would pay $19.52 a month.

Isn't that just wonderful?!?! We get a discount for the new trash bins only to be taken away for the water increase.
