Kentucky Wesleyan College welcomed its sixth president.
Cheryl King will take over in July.
King is a KWC graduate with a long career in education.
She spent nine years working with adult education at the state level.
She also served as a chairwoman of the Chamber of Commerce board and member of the Citizens Committee on Education.
Two other finalists were in the running for the KWC presidency, including the Chancellor of the University of North Carolina.
