Registered sex offenders in the state of Indiana could soon be required to have their picture updated whenever there's any kind of major change in their appearance. Right now, offenders are required to check in once a year unless they are labeled as sexual predators. A new bill now heads to the full Senate that would require photos on the public registry match what the offender looks like on a regular basis. It would also require offenders to notify the proper authorities within 72 hours of moving or if they get a new vehicle.
