Changes Coming to 2013 Evansville Christmas Parade

The Evansville Christmas Parade will have an extended route, and some new features this year.

On Wednesday, The Mayor's office is expected to announce the parade will be partnering with Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights this year, bringing a number of changes, including an extended route.

The parade will begin in the Civic Center parking lot at 3:30p.m. on Sunday, November 24th, going Down 9th Street to Main, then travel north on Main all the way past the fountain in Garvin Park, ending at Heidelbach Avenue.

There will also be activities in Garvin Park.  They include choirs, music, vendors, as well as a sneak peek of select Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights Displays.
