Owensboro Event Brings Hearing Impaired Children Together

"These children have adults here as role models to look up to," said Hands Alive Coordinator Heidi Givens, "because sometimes if they're the only one in their community, they may have never met an adult and don't know what they can achieve when they grow up."
The group received several donations to make today's activities possible, and leaders wanted to say "thank you."
