Family Recovering From Second Major Loss in 8 Years

A Vanderburgh County family vows to rebuild after another devastating setback.
A massive fire broke out Sunday afternoon and destroyed a home on Old State Road. The home belonged to Mark and Rachell Riggs.
Back in 2005, the Riggs family lost their Newburgh home to the November 6th tornado. Fast forward to Sunday. Members of Blue Grass Church began organizing relief efforts for the family as soon as the fire broke out.
The cause of the fire was ruled accidental and is believed to have started around the chimney.
