USAirways Will Soon Charge For Some Window Seats
(Phoenix, AZ) -- It may soon cost you more too have a coveted window or aisle seat on one U.S. airliner.
Beginning May 7th, coach passengers booking online on USAirways will have to pay five-dollars extra to reserve an aisle or window seat in the first several rows.
The Choice Seat program will be in put in place later this year at airport kiosks and ticket counters.
Passengers will also be charged 25-dollars for a second check-in bag beginning May 5th.
The Phoenix, Arizona-based airline blames rising fuel prices as one of the reasons for the extra charges.
