No Additional Fee for Plates

Hoosiers will still be able to get "In God We Trust" license plates and they will not have to pay an additional fee for them. The Indiana Civil Liberties Union had filed a suit claiming that giving out the "In God We Trust" plates for free while charging extra for other specialty plates was unconstitutional. However, a judge in Marion County disagreed and threw out the lawsuit. The BMV says it plans to continue distributing the plates as usual.
