A student teacher at Perry Heights middle school is in big trouble with the law. Vanderburgh county sheriffs department says 24 year old Jennifer Fritz allegedly sent an anonymous e-mail to Perry Heights principal last Friday. It said she had overheard a group of guys planning an attack on the school last week. Investigators discovered the e-mail account was fake. Detectives then linked the e-mail to Fritz. They say she admitted to sending the e-mail to avoid teaching. Fritz turned herself in to police this morning. She was charged with false informing and harassment.
