Monday Morning Quake

Earthquakes are still rocking the tri-state. According to the U.S. Geological Survey website a 4.5 magnitude quake shook just after 12:30am. The epicenter was 37 miles north northwest from Evansville. According to reports the shake only lasted about 20 seconds. This is the 18th quake reported since Friday morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey National Earthquake Information Center, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake hit at 12:38 A.M. Outside Bellmont, IL. And Mount Carmel, IL. The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey National Earthquake Information Center. An earthquake occurred 20 miles southwest of Vincennes, IN and 125 miles southwest of Indianapolis at 12:38 A.M. Today in Illinois. The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
