News Release: From: Vanderburgh Humane Society 13th Annual Going Going Gone to the Dogs Auction to Benefit Vanderburgh Humane Society (Evansville, IN -- April 21, 2008) On Saturday, April 26th, join the Vanderburgh Humane Society at their largest fundraising event, the 13th Annual Going Going Gone to the Dogs Benefit Dinner and Auction, themed Get a Home Little Doggie. The event is at the Evansville Airport Marriott. Doors open at 5:30 PM with the silent auction and cocktail hour. Dinner and the live auction begin at 7:00 PM. Some of the items featured this year are autographed guitars from Bruce Springsteen and the Jonas Brothers; autographed Peyton Manning football; autographed Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain pieces; trip to Alaska; Destin, Florida vacation; Cardinals vs. Cubs box tickets; diamond jewelry; artwork; and so much more! Tickets are on sale now! Reservations may be made online at www.vhslifesaver.org, or by calling (812) 426-2563 ext. 215. Tables seat 10 people, and reservations may be made at the following levels: • $60 Supporter & $100 Benefactor (Catalog Listing) • Corporate Table: $850 (10 Seats, Catalog Listing and Table Signage) This year’s goal is to raise $75,000 for the animals. The GGGD Auction proceeds help the VHS to continue the many important programs we provide for the people and pets of the Tri-State. The VHS is still looking for great items to auction.
