Mt. Vernon High School grad Jerry Wagner never had visions of saving the world, but after graduating from college, he knew he wanted to make a difference. That led him to sign up for the Peace Corps, where hes spent the last 2 years creating 4-H clubs in the tiny Central American nation of Belize. Wagner returns to the United States in July, but plans to go overseas to teach English in Asia later this year. Wagner says his international volunteering has changed his perspective on the world, and highly recommends it to anyone with a sense of adventure and a love of travel. For more information on how to join, please link to the Peace Corps web site .
