KY Voter Registration Up

It was a record-breaking year for voter registration in Kentucky.
The state Board of Elections shows 2,858,231 citizens will appear on Kentucky's voter rolls for the May 20th Primary.
Compare that to the record 2,840,898 that was set in the 2007 General Election.
When you break it down, Kentucky Democrats gained 13,259 new voters for a new total of 1,629,845 voters. The Republican Party jumped by 2577 new voters. They now have 1,040,438 voters listed as Republicans.
