Indiana's Top Educator Ready to Leave

One of Indiana's longest running state office holders will not seek re-election this year.
Dr. Suellen Reed says 16 years as the Superintendent of Public Instruction is long enough.
Reed is the longest serving Superintendent in state history.
She's also the first woman to serve in that capacity.
Neither party has named a potential candidate for the position yet.
