Thousands upon thousands of people were killed in the Asian country of Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. A cyclone surprised the countrys residents last week. Members of Bethel Temple, an Evansville church, are reaching out to help the struggling Burmese people. Over the past 11 years, Bethel Temple missionaries have built seven orphanges in the country and a college. Now, volunteers are eager to get back over there, to help with disaster relief. US reports estimate the death toll may reach up to 100-thousand people. The United Nations and Red Cross are doing what they can to help, but both are having difficulties getting in the country.
