The Indiana Civil Liberties Union filed suit to stop a law aimed at adult bookstores from going into effect.
This bill was passed, in part, to stop adult bookstores like the one at U.S. 231 and Interstate 64 from opening.
Supporters say such facilities are popping up along rural interstates.
The bill requires anyone selling sexually explicit material to register with the state.
The ACLU says the law is too vague and too broad and it could include legitimate bookstores and museums that display classic art.
The law is scheduled to go into effect July 1st.
A court date for the injunction request has not been set.
