Vincennes Fatal Fire

One person is dead, after fire broke out at a Vincennes apartment building Sunday morning. The fire was contained to one of the four apartments at the complex on 604 Broadway Street. Firefighters say there were two victims taken to a hospital in Indianapolis. One of them died at the hospital, the other is still being treated. Ten firefighters responded to the scene, and six trucks. One of the firefighters injured his ankle while carrying out one of the victims. There’s still no word on the cause of the fire. Officials say more information will be released Monday morning.
