Killed Soldier's Wife from Evansville

A soldier from northern Indiana died Friday in Iraq. The Chicago Post Tribune reports that his wife is from Evansville. 22-year-old Joseph Ford of Knox, Indiana was killed in a roll over accident near Al Asad. Ford was a turret gunner with Bravo Company of the 76th Infantry Brigade. The Department of Defense says Fords unit was involved in a training exercise when the driver of the vehicle he was riding in lost control and it rolled over.
