Tuesday Update - Warrick County Fatal Accident

Tuesday Update: 41-year-old Jeanne Roth was riding in the front seat of the car she was killed. The 16-year-old driver was taken to Deaconess Gateway with arm injuries. Officials say there was a 9-year-old child in the back seat. That child sustained head injuries. The semi driver, 45-year-old Timothy Altman was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center. UPDATE One person was killed in an accident in warrick county. It happened just after three Monday afternoon at the intersection of Outer Lincoln Avenue and State Road 66. Warrick County sheriffs deputies say a car was driving though the intersection and was hit by a semi - who had the right of way. Both the car and the semi then slid into a nearby embankment. The female passenger riding in the front seat of the car was killed. The 16 year old driver was taken to Deaconess Gateway. Officials say there was a child between 8 and 10 years old in the backseat. That child sustained significant injuries. The semi driver was taken to Saint Marys hospital. No names have been released. EARLIER REPORT One person was killed after an accident in Warrick County Monday afternoon. It happened at the intersection of Outer Lincoln Avenue and State Road 66. Warrick County Sheriffs Deputies say a car was driving though the intersection and was hit by a semi truck. Both the car and the semi then slid into a nearby embankment. One person in the car was killed, two others were hospitalized. The semi driver was also taken to the hospital. No names have been released.
