An Evansville auto shop caught fire Wednesday morning. Firefighters were called out to Rod Woods Auto-Electric at 1011 Grove Street at around 7:00 a.m. By the time they arrived, the fire had spread to the roof. It didnt take them long to put out the flames, but by then, extensive interior damage was already done. The department called in extra manpower at one point. So far, the blaze does not look suspicious, but an investigation is underway.
