Ellis Park Moving On

Ellis Park is entering a "moving on" phase.
Its union clerks began striking January 1 of this year after their new contract came with a 40% wage cut and cut in benefits.
They pledged to continue picketing until this years live meet, which begins July 4th.
Wednesday, the CFO of Ellis Park sent the union a letter informing them Ellis will be moving on towards the live meet.
That means they are giving up the possibility of a compromise with the union leadership.
The track will be hiring new employees for their upcoming meet.
