Memorials are planned for a soldier who was killed while serving in Iraq. 22-year-old Joseph Ford of Knox, Indiana was killed in a roll-over accident near al Asad on Friday. His wife is from Evansville. They were married last June. He was a turret gunner with the 76th Infantry Brigade. The Indiana Patriot Guard Riders tell us his remains will arrive Sunday. This Saturday, they plan to hold a memorial ride in honor of ford and all the soldiers fighting in Iraq. The Patriot Guard Riders will visit all the graves of local soldiers who have died at war. They say a public memorial is scheduled for Ford on Tuesday at the armory in Evansville. Click on the “Watch” link to see an interview from Friday’s A.M.
