An Orange County man was arrested after holding police at bay more than 6 hours.
Around 3 Monday afternoon the Orange County Sheriffs department and the French Lick city police department responded to a domestic situation on 2040 Old State Road 145 south of French Lick.
When officers arrived, Ronald Knapp II allegedly shot at the officers with a 12 gauge shotgun and then barricaded himself in a small metal outbuilding behind the residence.
He then fired two more times from inside the building.
Police gassed the building and Richard was taken into custody.
No injuries reported.
