Gospel Great Dottie Rambo Memorialized
(Nashville, TN) -- As many as two-thousand mourners were on hand in Tennessee Monday to honor Gospel legend Dottie Rambo, who died just over a week ago in a bus crash near Springfield, Missouri.
Members of the Gospel and Country Music families gathered at Christ Church Nashville to honor Rambos memory including, Andrae Crouch, Michael W. Smith, the Oak Ridge Boys, and Barbara Mandrell.
President Bush wrote a letter proclaiming Rambos importance to American music, and sent her family a flag that flew over the White House on Mothers Day.
Dottie Rambo was 74. She was born in Madisonville, Kentucky.
