Local law enforcement agencies are cracking down on drivers not wearing their seatbelts. Its all a part of the two week "Click it or Ticket" campaign that runs through Memorial day weekend. Officers will be on the roads handing out tickets to drivers in passenger vehicles not wearing seatbelts or properly restraining their children. According to Evansville Police Cheif Brad Hill motor vechile accidents are the number one cause of death among young people.
