Heres a way to give back to the men and women who give so much for our country and our freedom. The Red Cross of Southwestern Indiana invites you to Adopt-A-Soldier. Youll get the name and information of a soldier who is deployed and get the chance to form a relationship with them through emails, letters, or care packages. You can make the connection this Sunday at either Evansville Walmart store. From 10-5, Red Cross volunteers will be handing out names of current soldiers. If you cant make it to Walmart, just contact the red cross. Many of our troops dont hear from anyone back home, so its way of letting them know they are remembered.
