Rain may have put a damper on some Memorial day plans, but it didnt stop some community of Henderson from honoring fallen war vets. The rain took the ceremony inside Holy Name church, instead of the scheduled service at Central Park. Nearly 200 people showed up, its one of the biggest Memorial day services in the state. Henderson county high school junior ROTC members joined local veterns and placed wreaths in front of the church in remembrance of those who have sacrificed everything. David Worley, the featured speaker, shared a few words about how important their duties are and what it means for our country.
