St. Louis Stadium To Offer Peanut-Free Seating
(St. Louis, MO) -- Some Missouri baseball fans will be going without peanuts at the game.
The St. Louis "Post-Dispatch" reports Busch Stadium will offer peanut-free seating in one section on July 21st.
The move is meant to allow allergic Cardinals fans to attend games without worrying peanut exposure will cause a reaction.
A Cardinals official says if the experiment succeeds, the team will consider adding peanut-free sections at more games.
Director of event operations Mike Ball says, quote, "Its just this one date for now, but well see how it goes."
