Latest Report 6/2:
Still more questions than answers concerning a traffic accident that claimed the life of an Evansville teenager over the weekend.
Dallas Garrett died when the car in which he was a passenger skidded off Diamond Avenue between Kratzville and Saint Joe Avenue.
A Vanderburgh County Sheriffs deputy says detectives are still investigating.
They have already said high speed likely contributed to the accident.
They are also looking into whether drugs or alcohol may have been factors.
Garrett is the fifth Reitz student to die in some kind of accident this academic year.

Chief Dep. Dave Wedding: "They were in the right hand lane going westbound and they were in the right hand lane going westbound and they ended up going across the eastbound lane of traffic and then struck the guardrail."
"The driver is 19 year old Darrin Chamber and we are investigation this accident as having alcohol and drugs"
That driver is still in the hospital suffering from serious leg injuries.
There were six teens in the car altogether.
Two others sitting in the back seat were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A terrible accident but as fellow Reitz students mourn the second student death this week and the fifth Reitz student death this year.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriffs Department says Garrett was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
They say they are also awaiting toxicology reports to decide whether to bring charges against the driver
