Cleanup Continues At Universal Studios Following Fire
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Tours have resumed at Universal Studios in Southern California following a massive fire on the back lot.
The renowned King Kong portion of the back lot tour has been completely destroyed and there is no talk of building it back.
The blaze forced the closure of the popular tourist attraction but the tours are back, with the route changed to avoid the fire zone.
Los Angeles County Fire Chief P. Michael Freeman said theyve determined the fire that ripped through Universal Studios back lot Sunday was caused accidently after employees installed some shingles.

Accolades Pour In For Bo Diddley
Rock n Roll legend Bo Diddley is being remembered.
Diddley died in his Florida home yesterday of heart failure.
In the past year, he had suffered a stroke and heart attack.
Bonnie Raitt says Diddley was a "monumental figure in early rock n roll." ZZ Tops Billy Gibbons said quote, "The simplistic and humorous artistry that accompanied this creation we all know as the Bo Diddley beat is a resounding testament to someone who knew how to touch us in a rock n roll way." Diddley was 79.

Teen Charged In Videotaped Beating Wants To Talk To The Media
One of eight Florida teenagers charged in the kidnapping and video-taped attack of a Polk County cheerleader is due to appear before a judge today.
Lawyers for 17-year-old Mercades Nichols filed a motion asking the judge to release her from house arrest. Nichols wants to talk publicly about the case against her.
As part of her pretrial release, she was placed on house arrest and is not permitted to leave Florida.

First Of Three Spacewalks On Tap For Shuttle Crew
Time for another walk on the celestial side.
Astronauts Mike Fossum and Ron Garan will move outside the International Space Station for six and a half hours and start prepping to install the new Kibo 1/81/8 kee-BO 3/83/8 Japanese science lab.
The 16-ton, bus-sized lab will be the largest part of the International Space Station.
This is the first of three scheduled spacewalks for Fossum and Garan to perform during this mission.

Penguins Remain Alive In Stanley Cup Finals
(Detroit, MI) -- The Penguins took care of business and worked overtime to do it.
Pittsburgh stayed alive in the Stanley Cup Finals with a riveting 4-3 victory in triple overtime over the Red Wings in Detroit.
The Pens had tied the contest with just 35 seconds left in regulation after pulling their goalie for an extra skater.
The Pens now trail the Wings three-games-to-two in the Best of Seven series.
Game Six is tomorrow night in Pittsburgh.

Orem Police Save Woman Locked In Her Own Car
(Orem, UT) -- A Utah woman is a little red-faced after dialing 911 to say she had locked herself in her car.
Orem police say the woman reported her battery was dead and she was stuck in the car.
An officer was unable to shout loud enough for her to hear through the closed window, so he called her on her cell phone inside the car.
He told her to slide the manual lock to the open position.
She had thought the locks only operated electronically.
