Police Catch Robbery Suspect

Update: Friday 6/6/08 Noon: Evansville Police have arrested a man they believe is responsible for a convenience store hold up. David Nalley is charged with robbing the Shell Mart on South Weinbach. Police say on May 29th Nalley pulled a knife on a clerk and demanded money from the register. He made off with about 100 dollars. The arrest comes just hours after police distributed pictures to the media from surveillance cameras which showed the hold up taking place. Nalley apparently told police he had been drinking and using drugs the night of the hold up. Earlier Report: The man behind a gas station robbery is still on the loose tonight. Evansville Police just released pictures of the suspect. It happened at the Shell Mart at 1601 South Weinbach in the early morning hours of May 29th. The clerk told police the suspect pulled a knife on her and told her to give him all the money in the register. Police say the robber made off with about 100 bucks. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5-feet 7-inches tall, with a stocky build and a mustache. The clerk also said the robber was wearing a white ball-cap, sunglasses, and a blue fuzzy hoodie.
