Prank Posted On YouTube Results In Punishment Video
An alarming new fad among some teens culminates with the prank being posted on the Internet site YouTube.
Called "Fire in the hole," restaurant and fast-food workers are being targeted with drinks they order that end up being hurled at their faces.
The attacks are then posted on the video-sharing site YouTube.
According to Florida Today, in one such instance, a Taco Bell worker in was hit in the jaw by a 32-ounce blue soda she had just handed to two teenage boys in a drive-through.
Jessica Ceponis said the incident left her with a bruise along her jawline for weeks.
The 16 and 15-year-olds who were involved in the incident were later tracked down and arrested.
As part of their punishment, they are now featured in a YouTube video.
They are shown handcuffed and face-down on the hood of a car apologizing for the prank.
The punishment was created by a judge, prosecutors and defense attorneys who say they hope it will serve as a deterrent to others contemplating carrying out such an attack.
