When you order your next burger at McDonalds, it may be missing something.
A salmonella outbreak has led the fast food giant to stop serving sliced tomatoes on its sandwiches in U.S. stores.
Company officials says the move is purely precautionary and there have been no issues involving tomatoes at this time.
Grape tomatoes will still be served on premium salads at McDonalds.
The FDA said Saturday the salmonella outbreak was related to certain raw red plum, red Roma and red round tomatoes and products containing the tomatoes.
