Old School Sold For One Buck

Stanley Hall has been sold for one dollar. The former Evansville Vanderburgh County School Corporation building was approved for sale at Monday nights school board meeting. The new owner is Boom Squad Incorporated. The inner-city drum corp group will take over the space, which used to serve as an alternative education site. There is one provision to note, in order to protect the school corporation. If Stanley Hall is sold in the next 50 years, the current value of the building would come back to the EVSC.
