Posey Co. State of Emergency

Flooding on the Wabash River has reached Posey County where the County Commissioners declared a state of emergency Thursday. They are seeing flood water in New Harmony near the Roofless Church, which sits close to the Wabash. They think the downtown area will be okay, but the National Guard will be sandbagging Friday and Saturday as a precaution. The Posey County Emergency Management Agency says watch out for flooded roads and dont drive through standing water.
