The search for a superintendent for the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation has been narrowed to two candidates. School Board President Dana Willett made the announcement at Monday nights meeting. The new superintendent will be one of two men, Acting Superintendent Dr. Robert Yeager or the Associate Superintendent of the Warren Township Schools in Indianapolis Dr. Jeff Swensson. Yeager was an assistant superintendent, but he has been leading the district on an interim basis since Dr. Bart Mccandless was forced to resign last year. And, theres turmoil in Swenssons district after the disclosure. Heres what will happen next. The board will meet Wednesday in a closed session at the career and technical center to discuss the merits of Yeager and Swensson. They will also accept comments from the public.
