CJ`s Bill is about to officially become a law.
The Indiana Senate gave its ok Tuesday to require weather radios in all manufactured homes. Governor Daniels had already given his pledge to take the final step and sign it. The legislation was named for a two year old Evansville boy who died in the November 6 tornado that killed 24 other people. Tuesday`s passage with a 29-19 vote was particularly emotional for CJ`s mother, Kathryn, who helped introduce the law in January. She was in Indianapolis when the Senators cast their deciding votes. There`s no word yet when Governor Daniels will actually sign the bill into law.
