breaking news
Water has been restored to the city of Lawrenceville, Illinois thanks to a couple of Indiana divers.
Lawrenceville Mayor Brian Straub thanked divers Brian Dodd and Brock Buchanan of the Vincennes Township Fire Department.
The two men took on the task of repairing a water main break--located under flood waters.
More than ten thousand residents had been without fresh water all week.
City officials had been hauling in water from Vincennes and Saint Francisville.
Although the water is back on--the city is still under a boil advisory.
The mayor hopes the advisory will only last a couple of days but urges everyone to observe it for safety reasons.
