Komen Awards 11 More Grants

Komen for the Cures Evansville affiliate awarded more funds to help in the tri-states fight against breast cancer.
The eleven Community Pink Ribbon grants total nearly $40,000.
The recipients were spread out in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois.
They are the following:
Indiana:
Memorial Hospital & Health Care, Jasper
Daviess Community Hospital, Washington
Family Health Clinic, Washington
Gibson General Hospital, Princeton
Nativity Catholic Church, Evansville
Kentucky:
Methodist Hospital, Henderson
Trover Health System, Madisonville
Illinois:
Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney
Hardin County General Hospital, Rosiclare
Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Fairfield
Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro
In the past nine years, the Greater Evansville Affiliate has handed out over $3.5 million dollars in grants to local programs in the 28-county service area.
