Spring Break at Wesselman Woods

By: Web Producer
Updated: March 28, 2007
Kids can learn about the fun of nature first hand this Spring Break. Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve in Evansville has plenty of fun programs for them. Wednesday, kids got to have lunch with the wildlife. They met animals up close and had hot dogs and s'mores around a good ol' fashioned campfire. Later in the day, it was time to carve their own personalized walking sticks to get them out on the hiking trails.
The fun continues through the week.  All of the activities are held at the Nature Center of the Nature Preserve.
