Shooting off fireworks in Indiana may not be as easy this Fourth of July.
The Indiana House voted 69 to 27 Monday restricting when and where people can shoot off fireworks.
Last year, the General Assembly passed a law allowing people to shoot off fireworks and firecrackers all year round.
This new bill would restrict using fireworks to only 8 specific days of the year, but also allow local governments to restrict any other days.
The bill now returns to the Senate.
