Todays storms may be to blame for a drowning in Perry County. Three men were boating on the Ohio River near the Cannelton locks and dam. A gust of wind reportedly sent waves crashing over the boat, causing it to fill with water and capsize. All three men went overboard--only two came up. The body of 29-year old Derrick Adams was recovered just after six by rescue divers. 28-year old Josh Decker of Evansville and 28-year old Ross Polen of Jasper were rescued. Adams is from Taswell--his family arrived at the scene as his body was recovered according to the Perry County news.
