Harrison senior Bryce Brown did it again... and again. Brown won both the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles to end his outstanding Warrior track career as a five-time state champion.
After finishing second in the 110s last year, Brown redeemed himself by winning the event in 13.69 seconds. He also took the gold in the 110 hurdles his sophomore season.
Brown then blew away the competition in state record time in the 300 meter hurdles. His 36.26 second finish breaks the previous record of 36.29 that he set two years ago. Brown won the 300 hurdles for the third-straight year.
Brown tallied 29 of Harrisons 30 points to help the Warriors finish in a tie for fourth place. Warren Central won the boys track and field meet in Bloomington with 53 points.
Browns teammate, Kendall Brown, placed 9th in the long jump.
Gibson Southerns Neil Angermeier was second in the high jump, after clearing 610".
Southridges Chad Wertman was 4th in the shot put. Centrals Max Dedmond finished 6th in the shot and 6th in the discus.
Jaspers Derek Messmer was 5th in the pole vault. Princeton freshman Keenan Johnson ran to a 5th place finish in the 400 meter dash.
Memorials Joey Blue was third in the 800 meter run.
