Magistrate Accused of Sex Crimes

A Hopkins County magistrate is charged with sexually abusing two women in an emergency room. The charges came down Monday against Magistrate Jerald Wesley Lynn of Madisonville. Both incidents reportedly happened at the countys Regional Medical Center, where Lynn used to work. The first incident allegedly happened in November. A woman accuses Lynn of inappropriate touching and suggestive comments. The second allegations came from an April encounter. A woman says Lynn touched her inappropriately and invited her to have oral sex in his car. Later, she alleges that he exposed himself to her. Lynn turned himself into Madisonville Police Monday.
